I’m kind of a sucker for a well-written AU and this one is a doozy. It’s a sort of SGA/Lord Peter Wimsey fusion set in England in the 1930′s. Lord John Sheppard is on a country retreat when he finds himself embroiled in a murder mystery and falling in love with the prime suspect - Rodney McKay. Whee! It’s just a fantastic roller coaster of a story filled with snappy dialogue and a delicious mystery. I just adore this to tiny pieces. It’s one of those stories that never fails to make me happy. [1]
