Summary
Theta-G is the term for a unique radio wave that renders nuclear fission impossible and consequently, nuclear wars unlikely. But while the scientists involved have been sane enough to put Theta-G into the hands of the United Nations, extra-terrestrial forces have targeted the project.As the U.N. delegates pay a visit to the Theta-G Research Center in the American city of Raleigh, the militaristic Vardans make planetfall on Earth. Their secret weapon: Chandler, a shape-changing Auton, who has taken the form of one of the delegates!
Three miles away, the traveler in time and space known as The Doctor prepares for a relaxing vacation, unaware that his deadliest enemies have already determined his fate!
