The Whispered Watchword is a newsletter for fans of Nancy Drew and other girl-centric books such as Trixie Beldon and Judy Bolton. It began in 1988 and is still being issued (as of 2011). There are ten issues a year.
From the society's website: "Read about series past and present in our official monthly 30 page newsletter, The Whispered Watchword which includes a wide variety of articles on all aspects of girls series collecting, past and present, written by fellow collectors... Yearly membership includes 10 newsletter issues plus the opportunity to attend our annual convention and many regional get-togethers."
