Kirk's annoyance at McCoy mother-henning him leads to a nightmare in which McCoy really is a mother hen, with a nest full of bridge-crew chicks. Bizarre but funny. [1]
In an hysterical story, 'The Ultimate Nightmare,' Kirk is a chicken (literally) who cannot escape his mother hen. Even Spock accuses him of behaving most unchickenlike. Of course he wakes up, and it's all just a dream, but it's lots of fun. [2]
