"The Squire's Tales" is a novel series by Gerald Morris that blends retellings of Arthurian Legends with original characters and plot lines. The books mainly follow Sir Gawain and an original character of Morris's in his squire Terence, especially in the beginning of the series where Terence's perspective is often the main one. In some books the two play more minor roles, but they appear more than some other main characters, who may only be focused on during the duration of their own book or story. The title of the series comes from the first book, The Squire's Tale, which was published in 1998. The final book in the series was published in 2010 [1].

A knight wearing armor and holding a sword sits backwards on a white horse in a flowered field. There is a castle in the distance and the title "The Squire's Tale" at the top and "Gerald Morris" at the bottom.
