“The Soft Embalmer” is, hands down, the best story written for the abduction arc, period. I can’t imagine a better one. Scarlet didn’t use any keywords or spoilers because she didn’t want to give anything away. I won’t say anything else about it for that reason, but I have to rec this story! If you only have time to read one post-ep for “Ascension,” make it this one.[1]
