The Sisterhood of Karn is an LGBTQ+ Doctor Who fan club based in London, England. It was originally called "Strictly no Anoraks[1]" and was formed in 1994. A majority of its members are gay men.
"Our meetings are an opportunity to discuss Dr Who and related issues without the fear of suffering the ridicule and disapprobation that most of us face when we 'come out' as Dr Who fans"[2]
They also produced a fan film called "Resurrection of the Cybermen"[3][4], which was given a blessing by the BBC[5]
