The Republic of Pemberly is an Austen fansite. It was started as a message board in July 1996 as a spinoff from AUSTEN-L by Amy Bellinger. In November, Myretta began to help maintain the site, ultimately taking over in 2000. In 2014, the site moved, and in 2021, it moved again. The message boards were spun off into a Facebook discussion group.
