History of the Site

I started this web site in 199(ahem!), purely to house the Methos fan fiction of Sue Evans. There weren't many Methos sites around at the time (if any??) and, get this, I had *never seen the guy*. Sue soon sorted that out, and, to my eternal embarrassment, I got hooked too.

For a while, we went from strength to strength, with a fiction archive, a fair amount of silliness, and a cool reputation. One day we got 4500 hits. (The day I launched Methos' Erogenous Zone!!)

The site came down last year; with the broadcast of "To Be"/"Not to Be" here in the UK, and a bunch of personal reasons, I thought it was as good a time as any to pull the site. I was getting less and less mail about Methos, fewer and fewer good stories for the archive, and the series was over. End of an era.

I should have known better. Needless to say, Methos was less than amused when I pulled his site. He sulked for a very long time, in fact. He stayed away as my mailbox filled up with protests at the demise of the site.

He sent Kronos to be mean to me, and Byron to mess with my head. But about two months ago, Methos popped out of the woodwork without warning, as he tends to do, and brought a few friends along to help fix up the files and write some new stories. I'm not sure they all came willingly, but, as we all know, it's rather hard to say 'no' to Methos. I certainly can't. I gave in, and agreed to resurrect the site.

Seeing the spectacular reunion of "The Four Horsemen" at the recent Chronicles convention gave my energy a boost, and threw up some new ideas, which I hope will be cool. If not, you can all laugh at me, and I'll take it out on Methos later.

Watch this space ;-)
