The Legacy of Kirk is a 60-page Star Trek: TOS/Star Trek: TNG novel written by Paul Gadzikowski. On the cover: "A True Conclusion to the Genesis Project Trilogy." Note: some/all issues were bound on the wrong side, so it has to be read backwards from the back cover.
From Bill Hupe's catalog: "In ST 2 Kirk finally faces death. In ST 3, he proves it is a reversible condition. Surely this must be the most important revelations in the history of the Huanan race, but no one seems to take note of it besides Kirk's staff and Spock's family. And most of a century later Picard still believes Death to be Man's last ubiquitous adventure. There must be a reason for this."
This novel "...consider(s) the repercussions--both public and private, in the Federation and elsewhere--of the Genesis project, the Battle of Mutara, and the events that occurred on Mount Seleya circa 2285." [1]
