The Last Ride Raid, a Rat Patrol novel I cowrote, won the Fan-Q in 1998. [It] had like 5 different betas for different aspects -- medical, veterinary, historical, equestrian, and universe), and intend to do so in the future with at least three more novels... It's my name on the cover -- I take pride in that, and don't want people to be able to point out gaffes. [1]
