The Hounds of the Internet, or HOUNDS-L, is a Sherlock Holmes fan community and listserv. It spun off in 1992 from the broader DOROTHYL mystery mailing list. It was a recognized scion society of the Baker Street Irregulars. Since May 1998, a story was announced each week as the subject of discussion.
