Please feel free to add the obligatory disclaimers here... Joe's toys, that I borrowed without permission and plan to return just as soon as I've finished playing with them.

The following story is unfinished, although getting there. I'm posting chapters one through eight right now. The second half will be posted, gods and work schedules willing, soon. I would like to thank my beta readers: Alta, Sue, Kymberlee, Anne H., Julia H-V, and Isoline, for all their comments, advice, and feedback. You have helped so much, and I really can't thank you enough. *hugs* I owe a debt of gratitude to Alta, for inspiring this with her wonderful "Falcon and the Falconer." *more hugs*

On to the advisories! "The Hammer and the Stone" is quite dark, and contains scenes of explicit violence, bondage and sadomasochistic activities, rape, snuff, and various and sundry other unspeakables. If you are offended by such activities, please don't read it, because it's just chock full of 'em! The story is set very soon after Michael Garibaldi's return to duty, early in season two. Onward. I hope you enjoy it. EB
