The Garden Series is an explicit slash 348-page anthology by Lady Grey. It is a group of five related stories following Jack and Daniel's relationship from the time they realize their feelings for one another through their unique way of coming together, falling apart, and finding each other again. Summaries below from the publisher. It is AG Showcase Special 13.
- Breaking the Code (In the wake of an injury that leaves Daniel permanently grounded from 'gate travel, Jack discovers his feelings for his old friend go far deeper than he believed. Once he comes to terms with that epiphany, he must find a way to tell Daniel -- only Jack isn’t a man of words. Something from his long-buried past gives him an eloquent way to express his feelings without saying a word, and leaves Daniel with a coded message he must translate… and then decide how to respond.)
- The Language of Flowers (Daniel is learning to speak a very special language under the tutelage of master gardener, Jack O'Neill.)
- Garden of Stone (Mention of past (non-con, A bitter secret from Jack’s past threatens to destroy him, and exacts a heavy toll on his relationship with Daniel.)
- The Snowfire Rose (Jack and Daniel are talking again after a painful breakup, trying to help each other heal. Now it is Daniel’s turn to compose a secret message, and a search ensues for the missing elements to make Jack’s garden complete. This tale begins the day after the final scene of the previous story.)
- Roots (An off-world tragedy brings an unexpected gift to Jack, just in time for Christmas. He is reminded of the importance of his roots, and returns home to Minnesota to introduce his family to the newest love of his life. This story begins three days after The Snowfire Rose ends.)
