The Fuselage was the official Lost website, and it contained a threaded message board with the same name. The board was very popular with fans who gathered there to discuss the show, share theories and live reactions, and talk to VIPs on the creative team and cast. As of December 2008, the board contained 86,164 threads with 1,931,902 posts, made by 63,868 members.[1]

The Fuselage was the brainchild of Buffy writing room alum David Fury, who had previously posted on The Bronze, a similar forum that allowed interaction between fans and TPTB.[2]

Fans who posted on the board referred to themselves as fuselagers or lagers.
