I’m not just reccing this because she wrote it for me. ::grins:: And also, I lied. It seems my favorite fics are ones where John is incapacitated and Rodney has to come up with a plan even when he’s not in much better shape. Taste is incredible at writing competent!Rodney stories, and this is a fine example of that. I’ve read it many times and it still makes me happy cry at the end. John and Rodney’s connection in this fic is so deep that even when they lose the memory of simple words, they still remember each other on a subconscious level. Bonus points for John creating the opposite of intact: out-tact! LOL! [1]
