The Differential Diagnosis List was a Yahoo group that had moderated posting, with 1,190 members at its close. The group's peak period was in 2006-2007. While posting diminished rapidly by 2012, when it was active it had as many as 1429 messages a month.

Fun, Friends, and House, starring Hugh Laurie... we have the prescription for your obsession here!House M.D., starring the incomparable Hugh Laurie as the title character, Dr. Gregory House, on FOX, was an instant favourite for many of our list members. Its unique twist on the television medical drama, with echoes of Sherlock Holmes, immediately drew us in. If you find yourself taping the show to watch each episode one more time (at least) to catch what you missed the first time around, this may be the list for you! And even if you don't rewatch the episodes, you're still more than welcome to join us -- the more the merrier. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, welcoming group, and hope you will find that this list becomes your favourite spot for House discussion on the web.
