The Devil Made Me Write This is a Star Trek 50-page zine of non-fiction commentaries.
It is the "collected FIB columns of James Pauley. Not for the faint hearted, the easily offended, or K/S fans!"
Topics discussed (in very confrontational, trollish, frankly misogynistic ways): smut/porn in Trek writing, K/S and its ridiculousness and evils, the use of profanity, women trying to get into his pants, various cons, Harlan Ellison, other science fiction media shows, censorship, overweight fans and "slags," Star Trek: TNG, and some personal fannish vendettas. David Gerrold appears to be a personal hero, and Jim's writing reflects this on many levels, including its hyperbolic, look-at-me-I'm-so-outrageous style.
