The Death Trap Test is a Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan story by Augusta Pembrooke. It was originally published online in 1999 and republished in 2000 in the zine Pleasure Boy and Other Stories.
Summary: A response to the "I don't want to die a virgin" challenge.

I love everything by Augusta. Her "Pleasure Boy" was my introduction to slash and still a favorite. But this story sticks in my mind. I love the gentle, loving way Qui-Gon deals with Obi-Wan's request, the various attitudes of the Council members who are acting as voyeurs, and the great twist ending.[1]
In which Obi exclaims "I don't want to die a virgin". She turns a classic contrived set-up into a gorgeous story. Very moving at times, but with humour and marvellous sex scenes. I'd recommend anything by this writer.[2]
