Summary
From the distributor: "In The Deal, the robbery of a church poor-box leads to a confrontation between Detective Ray Vecchio and mobster Frank Zuko -- who've been enemies since their school years. When Frank's sister Irene Zuko returns home in Juliet is Bleeding, she and Ray renew their teenage romance, with tragic results for everyone."
Author's Notes
The writer explains why she decided to write novelizations of the aired episodes:
When I heard last year that the British company Boxtree were going to publish novelizations (of the episodes) I wrote these and sent them off through my agent for Boxtree's consideration. Unfortunately, Boxtree didn't even read them - they simply said they already had [selected other episodes they wanted to novelize) and weren't planning on on doing any more....
For those of you who are already familiar with my work, I believe you'll find this zine is written in a slightly different style than usual...I did keep in mind that the audience for general novelizations has different requirements than the audience for slash fan-fiction (and I'm not just talking sex scenes).
