The Cultural Investigators is a Star Trek: TOS story by Mary Louise Dodge.
It was published in Delta Triad #5.
Summary
In the name of cultural understanding, Scotty and McCoy investigate the quarters of their First Officer.
Reactions and Reviews
McCoy and Scotty do a little snooping around in Spock's quarters and are just speculating on the possible mythological significance of the Vulcan fire-pot when Spock walks in on them - and comes up with a perfectly logical, non-mythological explanation of the souvenir he received from Amanda. [1]
