The Convention is a gen Star Trek: TOS story by David Broadbent.
Reactions and Reviews
This is the story of a parcel of unbelievable Klingons who are blown off course by aliens and a time warp, and wind up storming a New York Star Trek con. This is not what you call high realism. After thirty of his men are croaked, Captain Komar apologizes to the alien force, which restores everything. Done in ditto,- it's nearly illegible. Broadbent shows promise as a yarnspinner, but "The Convention" is simply bad.
