An enjoyable AU/fantasy with narry an elf in sight and with an interesting use of a number of CI5 characters in very alternative roles. I liked this because of the relationship that develops between Bodie and Doyle and the way the author manages to to remain pretty true to Doyle's CI5 character despite the fact that she keeps him mute for most of the story.[1]
Why this must be read:This is great fic,and actually great crackfic. Bodie's a prince, Doyle is silent by choice, Murphy comes and goes, Doyle has a secret, Cowley is a regent, it's kind of like a fairy tale in some ways but not in others and best of all, it really works. I get lost in the story, and better yet, I still see my lads. Come closer and be entertained. [2]
