Following the stories of Manolo and Joaquín as they compete for the hand of María. Unbeknownst to them, the outcome of their relationships have become the focus of an otherworldly bet between La Muerte, the ruler of the Land of the Remembered, and Xibalba, the ruler of the Land of the Forgotten.
