The Balance is a gameplay-focused community in the Final Fantasy XIV fandom. It consists of a website and a dedicated discord server. Its name derives from a skill from the Astrologian job which buffs a party member's damage for a short time.
The Balance website hosts a plethora of guides about playing the various jobs in the game most optimally, including up-to-date skill information, rotation guides and best-in-slot equipment information. The discord has dedicated channels for discussing the jobs and giving and obtaining feedback on performance, as well as some discussion channels on the game's other aspects.
