TerrSit Mailing List was an early electronic mailing list for fans of the long-running Wiseguy series, The Terranova Situation.

For fans not online (and there were many of them in 1996), you could have it mailed to you on paper.

Description

From a 1996 flyer:

EVER FEEL THE NEED TO DISCUSS THE TERRANOVA SITUATION WITH OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE READING IT?

NOW YOU CAN!

INTRODUCING THE TERRSIT MAILING LIST!

How does it work? You write a letter and email it to us, and we will then forward it on to everyone else signed up on the list. Think of it as an electronic TerrSit party!

The Terranova Situation mailing list is open to anyone who reads the novel and who has access to electronic mail — it’s as easy as that. You can discuss anything you like: slashy thoughts, Wiseguy thoughts, it’s all welcome here! We’ll even (gladly!) run TerrSit-inspired fiction!

And don’t he afraid to engage in “adult” conversation! (If you have to share your email account through work or school, you might want to keep this in mind.)

To get on The Terranova Situation mailing list, email [email protected] and put “subscribe” in the subject line. After that, you will automatically start receiving the daily digests (a compilation of postings we receive). In addition, you will receive all the fiction that we have received to date.

Remember, you don’t have to be buying the novel to discuss it, you just have to be reading it! If you have a friend who is reading the novel, please pass this information along to them, because we believe (as the guys do) in the philosophy of “the more, the merrier”!

NOT ON EMAIL? The TerrSit List is now available as a weekly newsletter for those readers who aren’t online. $8/month US and $12/month overseas, checks payable to Ann Teitelbaum.

The Terranova Situation mailing list is sponsored by Almost Foolproof Press: Ann Teitelbaum ([email protected]) & [Dar] Fisher ([email protected]), publishers. P.O. Box 2455, Danville, CA 94526. It is not affiliated with America On-Line.
