Purpose
The purpose of this template is for formatting page titles so that the titles of works are presented in italics. As such, it should be used in articles for media fandoms and fanworks.
Usage
To use this template, copy the below code and paste it at the end of an article:

All parameters
{{Italic title|noerror|string=text in title|all=yes}}
Parameters
This template has three optional parameters:
|1=:
if this is set to |1=noerror, error messages are suppressed.|all=:
if this is set to |all=yes, text in parentheses is italicized.|string=:
instead of italicizing the whole title, italicize only some specific text. For example, using |string=Ally McBeal on the page "List of Ally McBeal episodes" would result in "List of Ally McBeal episodes".
