Tekken is a Japanese media franchise created by Seiichi Ishii and centered on a series of fighting video and arcade games developed by Bandai Namco Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The franchise also includes film and print adaptations.

Adaptations

In addition to characters and settings appear in the collectible card game Universal Fighting System by Fantasy Flight Games and in Epic Battles by Score Entertainment, other adaptations are available:

  • Tekken Saga and Tekken 2, a novelization released in October 1997 and September 1998
  • Tekken: The Motion Picture, a two-part OVA anime series release in 1998
  • Tekken: Tatakai no Kanatani or "Tekken: The Other Side of Battle", a manga in two tankōbon volumes release in December 5, 2000 and April 5, 2001
  • Tekken Forever, a comic book release in December 2001
  • Tekken a live-action film release in 2009
  • Tekken Comic a comic illustrated non-canonical release in 2009
  • Tekken: Blood Vengeance, a full-length CGI-animated film release in 2011
  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2, a live-action short film release in 2012
  • Tekken 2: Kazuya's Revenge, a prequel to the 2009 film was release direct-to-DVD in 2014
  • Tekken a four-issue mini-series comic book release in 2017
  • Tekken: Bloodline a streaming television anime series, release in March 2022 by Netflix
