Talky face is a term used in vidding to refer to clips where actors' lips move. It particularly refers to clips that contain fairly close shots of actors' faces as they speak normally. Clips with screaming or non-closeups of talking are not normally considered examples of talky face.

Using lots of talky face in a vid is often seen as a sign of poor skill or lack of experience.

AMV editors use the term Lip Flap, which is a film industry term referring to lip sync errors.
