Canonicity

So re: the "canonicity" of this pairing.... it's not really accurate to describe it as "Word of God", particularly through a citation of a guy who's just a fan that was weirdly mad that the "Farewell, Sarah Jane" audio includes a future for Nyssa that is different from what was depicted in Big Finish audios almost 15 years before, where Nyssa married a man called Lasarti. It's an officially licensed audio that is 100% canon, insofar as anything in Doctor Who is canon, a term the franchise is notoriously loose with. The canon page on the Doctor Who wiki does a nice job of compiling states over the years from the BBC + those involved in the show and its related media. Basically everything is canon. But at the same time nothing is canon. Time travel is weird :) I would suggest replacing the current statements with something explaining that other stories depict different futures for the characters + a brief summary of DW's rather unique approach to the concept of "canon."
