Talk:Newbie

We could merge Neofan to this page and make a separate section for it, explaining its use and origins in the science fiction community.

OR, should the online part of Newbie be emphasized more here, and there be more short discussion on this page of "Neofan" as more of an offline space? And we do the same on the Newbie page, so that there is a clearer difference between the two?

I also think there should be a short discussion of other terms and how they differ, so we don't have an unorganized scattershot of closely related terms without context.

Okay, I'm stepping back from merging the two terms, but I think we need a better plan for these two pages, as I feel they are confusing and need to be clearer going forward. :-) --MPH 13:37, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
