Talk:Marauders
I changed a header from "Alternative Headcanons" to just "Headcanons." I think it's understood that headcanons are interpretations offered by fans and that there's usually a multiplicity of them. I don't see the need to describe the headcanons listed as "alternative," because that raises the question - alternative from what? What is a "non-alternative" headcanon? Anyways, if anyone has thoughts or wants to see it changed back, let's discuss here. I think this page would benefit from some more substantial attention, and I'm hoping to circle back to it soon as well. - Fandomgeographies (talk) 02:49, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
TikTok Fandom
I've been on a deep dive into the marauders community on tiktok and how it connects to the evolution of fanon. The 'Fandom' section on this page mentioning it looks great, and I'm hoping to add more in-depth information, but it seems like it's separate/specific enough as it's own sort of phenomenon to have it's own page? I know there's a glossary page for MaraudersTok, which could be expanded to talk about the community in detail, but I don't know if that'd be too much information/off topic (considering it's a terminology page right now). Any thoughts?

- I agree with you on all of the above! The MaraudersTok page was originally describing the increase in popularity of Marauders on TikTok as a glossary term but I think it just refers to the Marauders fandom on TikTok which is a fan community more than a glossary term so the page can definitely be edited to be more focused on the community — I think it would be a really good place to expand on the Marauders fandom on TikTok and its idiosyncrasies/differences with non-TikTok fandom! Maybe a See Also notice in the fandom section on this page linking to MaraudersTok would work well. - Castille (talk) 14:56, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
- Sounds good! I'll add in a basic outline to the MaraudersTok page and get started adding info!
