Twitter Thread

Marine Haddock I was wondering how a thread on Twitter that is nothing more than a review would be considered fanwork. And what would live reaction be? -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 17:03, 15 March 2022 (UTC)

Live reactions are any case of a fan watching along, reacting to the media either in real-time or on an episode by episode basis. Things like podcasts where people discuss each episode are one of the primary forms of this but many fans do them through tumblr tags or twitter threads. It used to be common with youtube videos but is lesser due to DMCA issues. It's an example of how fans interact with the media and their thoughts and reactions as things progress. I would also argue reviews from fans can be taken as meta because they tend to discuss it from the fans' point of view and is indicative of how fandom is interacting with the media. So live reactions could be considered a by-product of meta and meta essays correct? -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 17:34, 15 March 2022 (UTC)

Sounds like a good argument to me, I'll rename the category MarineHaddock (talk) 17:34, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
