I'm not sure why this one is being requested for deletion, while Graven Images is being requested to move to a version with the author name? (Also because the request on Graven Images is to move it to the author's full name, instead of the abbreviation - kosher in this case?) I think it would make more sense to redirect Graven Images to this page, since there's already an author name here, unless the issue is specifically to get the full name in the title. --Arduinna 05:24, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I can't say what's right wrt this name, not being in S&H but this author is mentioned unter her full name in this wiki on several other S&H zine pages and also on the Slash page for this novel already, so either those get edited too, or this should be moved to her full name. Right now it is inconsistent.--Ratcreature 06:56, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, I've googled around and seen the full name a few places, including the ST Zinedex, so it's probably safe, but it's the wee hours where I am now, so I'm going to put this on hold and see if anyone else knows more precisely. Will check in tomorrow to see! --Arduinna 07:35, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
- I'm happy as long as anyone looking for "Graven Images" by Jane Aumerle and Dotty B. can find this zine. :-) Maybe I shouldn't be so worried about having gardeners change things to single author novels and make redirects to pages instead? *worried about making too much work for folks* Mrs. Potato Head 12:17, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
- When a page needs to be moved to a new name, keep asking for gardener help; when we move a page, the entire page history comes with it, so people can see how things got created. It also automatically creates a redirect, so that's covered *g*. For duplicates where one is named wrong but the other is fine as is, just merge the info onto the good page and turn the incorrect one into a redirect - that's better than deleting, since it will point multiple spellings to the same page.
- As for this page, I'm confused again (sorry) - I thought Dotty B was the editor, not the co-author? The name on the cover is blurry, but it looks like only Jane got listed. --Arduinna 17:59, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
- So totally right with the author, only Jane. Dotty Barry is the editor, but I don't think the Barry part is pre-1995 approved. Also, in my hunt I afound the illustrator! Also, made note of redirect from duplicate page. Mrs. Potato Head 18:55, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
