Talk:File Forty Press
This is linked as the publisher of File Forty. That zine was published in the 1970s. Either there were two publishers of this name or they started publishing way before 2000s.--RatCreature 11:47, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
- I know they're not the same press. The older title is more of a newslettery thing. I'll try to poke around with this one a bit, but if I don't find anything out, I'll, I'll... well, I'll think of something. Mrs. Potato Head 13:38, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
- Okay. Cleared up. A cover for issue #1 of the newer zine (205 pages) was on the record for the early one. And on the front of it was "File Forty Press" hence the publisher info. I went to move it over to the correct record, but found there was already a cover image there and one far finer. So, all set. Mrs. Potato Head 13:45, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
- Ah. I wonder though why for the other zine the name is File 40 when on the cover the number is written out as well, and whether these should not be in a single "name space", i.e. the written out title also going to the diambig and older zine getting a brackett behind too to be more specific.--RatCreature 13:57, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, the title should always match the cover, what librarians call "book in hand." Mrs. Potato Head 14:04, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
