Talk:Feedback
I think it would be neat to have a place to put the history of the somewhat cyclical "public fanfic crit" kerfuffles. I remember quite vividly its drawn-out incarnation in TS fandom which had a significant impact over time on the fandom landscape on TS and also on other "nearby" fandoms with list splits, different permission rules to public fb on lists, founding of FCA and Prospect-L and similar lists in other fandoms. And for a while there was a lot more lively discussion about specific fanfic in public than I've seen at any time before on lists or on any of the fanfic discussion comms I've seen attempted on LJ since. (nostalgia! heh. though of course I may just have missed places)
But where to put it? The feedback coverage on the wiki is spread out: there is this article, concrit, Review, LOC, metadiscussion (mostly for it being a list tactic of choice to drown discussion), and then of course the list pages linked above where the stuff happened... Should we maybe have another page? Similar to the "Zine Pirating" page? Maybe called Public Fanfic Discussion Controversy? or something more brief?--RatCreature 11:41, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Is there any reason why "concrit" and "feedback" can't be combined? It seems like there's a lot of real duplication. --Mrs. Potato Head 22:35, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
