competence kink and competence porn
AO3 has competence porn and competence kink as synonyms. I could be wrong, but I feel like when something is called competent kink, it is more about the protagonist's romantic interest being competent, while competence porn is more about the main protagonist being competent. There might be a difference in negativity, too. I think 'X kink' in general is more neutral and less judgemental than 'X porn' - again I could be wrong, though.
