Title Spelling
Judging by the titles of her livejournal and tumblr, lowercase spelling seems to have been arminaa's prefered way of spelling her name. So I'd like to change that. I'd like to change the spelling throughout the text, too, since I feel it's a matter of continuity. However, I'm not sure of how to handle it at the beginning of a sentence or in a headline. Would spelling a common name that was meant to be lowercase in lowercase at the beginning of a sentence look irritating to readers? SecurityBreach (talk) 12:22, 15 August 2022 (UTC)
- I changed the title but there is still the issue of using lowercase at the beginning of a sentence. SecurityBreach (talk) 15:32, 15 August 2022 (UTC)
- I agree to use the name in lowercase throughout the article and in the title -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 05:04, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for your reply, Ellakbhesse! In the meantime, I have been busy searching for a solution for this puzzle and found out that even names canonically spelled in lowercase are usually spelled in caps at the beginning of a sentence, please see: The Archive of Our Own just won a Hugo. That’s huge for fanfiction. and search for astolat. So I guess I'll better leave matters as they are :D SecurityBreach (talk) 10:46, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
