I think the Fanlore policy is that if something is posted in public it can be quoted (even if it later locked or deleted). Although there does not appear to be an Fanlore:Identity_Protection issue in play, the Wiki Committee can help if that is the case. Just to be cautious, I am restoring the quote, minus the name of the commenter. One quick question to the OP: does the comment no longer reflect your view of the story? If so, drop a note here, and I'll add that fact to the footnote.

PS. Edited to add: if there is some nuance I am missing about the content and/or context of the quote, I'd suggest it be edited in place of deletion. I'll let others more familiar with the story hash the details out.--MeeDee 06:07, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
