Takasugi Shinsuke/Sakata Gintoki is the pairing of Takasugi Shinsuke and Sakata Gintoki in the Gintama fandom.

Canon

Sakata Gintoki and Takasugi Shinsuke from Gintama are childhood friends/rivals. They become enemies due to the events of the Joui War but they eventually become allies and friends after their fight and a revelation about their past. They first reunite in the series in Episode 17. It is an encounter that is tension filled and is not a friendly one.

Fanon

GinTaka/TakaGin is a popular ship because of the childhood friends to lovers trope that many people love. Due to Gintoki remaining single after certain events happened around Takasugi and sentimental lines the two shared that is believed to parallel a canon couple, some fans felt that they felt romantic feelings for one another. During a fight where they fought together, they swapped each others swords. In samurai culture one's sword is their soul and it could be interpreted that they were entrusting their souls to one another.

In "Kirimusubi" a song written for the final scene of Gintoki and Takasugi by DOES, the lyrics express Gintoki's feelings towards Takasugi, lyrics such as "I should love without questioning anything." "the two of us vowed to never be apart ever again."
