Sysex Dump! is a filk songbook with music and words written by Joe Ellis. Joe Ellis was a keyboard player, and incorporated the keyboard into his songs and albums, including those which were featured in Sysex Dump!
Opinions on the inclusion of keyboard were divided at the time as, in the dedication for Sysex Dump!, Joe made reference to a filkfan who had told him "keyboards did not belong in filk"[1].
