QAF pretty much broke me, and Sentinel is where I went for comfort. *G* And there's a lot of Senfic to comfort a broken heart, so I've been saving up recs for about six months. This is a long piece, with hot sex and angst. AND a happy ending. (No blood, but, well, nothing's perfect.) This story got me right where I was living when I read it--wanting something so desperatey, and knowing you're not going to get it, ever. Except when you do.[1]
