Strange Realities: the X-files Alternate Universe Archive was an X-Files archive for alternate universes.
I took over the Alternate Universe Stories archive from Natasha, because she was too busy with Gossamer. I like the idea of alternate universes: the idea that things could have happened completely different from the way they did, just because of one tiny incident. And I think it's wonderful if an author manages to write plausible X-files characters and events in more or less alternative timelines/settings. And it gives authors a chance to explore other scenes and scenarios than normally possible within the X-files continuum. [1]
