This was the first au story I read upon entering the fandom in 2001 and it hooked me for good on Q/O slash. It is very well written and entirely captivating. I found the characterism of Qui and Obi to be rich and unforgettable.[1]

Yet another Obi-Wan slave story, and a brilliant one. A long loving look at how Obi-Wan reclaims his identity with the help of a loving Qui-Gon. The added bonus is a number of well-written sex scenes, that are not just gratuitous smut, but mirror the development of the relationship.[2]
