Reactions and Reviews
Here’s one of the newsletter-sized Starship Kongos. They’re all monochrome, but what color is used in that monochrome changes from issue to issue.
Also from interior to exterior. I actually like this; it makes it feel like more effort went into design choices than in your typical B&W pamphlet.
I also love the sense of humor on display. True fans can poke fun at the things they love....
Star Trek: Starship Kongo. I’ve found a small pile of these, ranging from these lovely issues with fanfic, comic strips, and articles, to thin little monochrome newsletters. Googling “Starship Kongo” got me no information on the fanzine, but a fair bit about the semi-canon-not-canon starship it took its name from. Also a brief history lesson on WWII Japanese battleships. It’s a damn good name for a ship, and for a ST fanzine. [1]
