Starquest is a gen 70-page Star Trek: TOS anthology of fiction by Synda Surgenor.
The author's foreword:
July, 1969. Saturday teatime: I sat down unenthusiastically to watch the first episode of an imported science fiction series with which the BBC had replaced my beloved 'Dr. Who.Twenty-one years later the good Time Lord is not what he was, but the characters whom I met for the first time that afternoon have become part of the fami1y,
Which is why this 'zine is affectionately, dedicated to the actors and actresses who breathed such convincing life info the crew of the Starship Enternrise; and particularly to Leonard Nimoy who, on that long ago afternoon, first introduced me to Mr. Spock and, through him, to Vulcans and their philosophy of IDIC -- The infinite diversity or the Star Trek universe has given me a vast amount of enjoyment over the years. If the stories in this 'zine give even a fraction of that enjoyment to those who read them I shall be well content.
