The Star Trek and Science Fiction Mini-Convention was a one-day event held on January 14, 1978, in the Pickens Building at Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton, South Carolina, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. There were no celebrity guests, but there was a dealers room and the film "Forbidden Planet" and the Star Trek blooper reel were shown.[1]
Attendees included Eric L. Watts and Dorothy Dillon.
