Star Trek: Voyager Update was a Star Trek: Voyager mailing list (also referred to as a newsletter) run by Seth Dilday.

After issue #10, this publication was renamed "Stardate."

There were 46 issues over the period of about a year. They are archived here.

"Stardate merged with TrekScoop to form Transwarp."

On October 21, 2000, a fan commented: "Its [sic] still hard to believe, but its now been a year and two months since the last TW issue was released. The TEXT newsletter continues to experience a major shutdown because Seth (Our Main Editor) has been busy because of the Real World. We have lost all contact with him, and we have no clue if he will ever come back." [1]

About

From the first issue:

Star Trek: Voyager Update mission statement: to provide fans of Star Trek: Voyager on the internet with quality, accurate Star Trek: Voyager and general Star Trek news and information in a regular e-mail newsletter.

If you would like to submit information for Star Trek: Voyager Update, please send it to me as [email protected].

Much of the information here can be found on the USS Star Trek: Voyager web site at http://www.aplus.com/seth/trek/voyager.htm

Welcome to the new Star Trek: Voyager Update! I hope you like it. This is my first try at this, so don't be too hard on me :) First, I would like to thank you for subscribing. Second, I want to encounrage [sic] members of this mailing list to send any and all noteworthy Voyager news to me so it can be included. I don't have access to any newsgroups on USENET, so getting information that is posted there is important. Again, please send in anything you find, so it can be relayed to the rest of the on-line trek

community. Also, please feel free to post this is USENET, on web pages, whereever you think it's appropriate. [2]
