Sprigatito is a Pokémon introduced in the Generation IX games Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Sprigatito Standing Up
After Sprigatito's design was revealed alongside the other starters, fans started speculating on what it's evolutions would look like, and many strongly believed that it's design shouldn't be bipedal, unlike the evolutions for some previous starters, most notably Litten. The reason for this varied, with some saying that there had been too many bipedal evolutions for starter Pokemon already, others fearing that it would change the feel of the character, going from a pet to a partner, and others hating the furry following that bipedal Pokemon characters usually receive.
This lead into many memes, usually having Springatito standing up and people either pleading for it to not do it, or encouraging it to become bipedal.[1][2] Eventually, the evolutions were leaked, and revealed that it's evolutions, Floragato and Meowscarada, were indeed bipedal, leading into many getting disappointed, and others cheering about it.[3]
Holy Fucking Bingle
In January 2023, maia arson crimew leaked the TSA's No-Fly List. In its[note 1] blog post documenting the events of the leaking, crimew at one point uploaded an image of a Sprigatito stuffed plushie along with the words:
holy shit, we actually have the nofly list. holy fucking bingle. what?! :3
This lead to Sprigatito being associated with crimew, the no-fly list, and the phrase holy fucking bingle, which had quickly become a meme. The specific plush was given the name Bingle by the internet, though it seems crimew adopted the name for it as a result.[4]
Later that same year, in November, the official Pokémon Twitter account posted an image of a Sprigatito plush in an airport looking at a list of flights, with the caption:
Where do you think Sprigatito is headed, Trainers? 👀✈️"[5]
Several of the most popular replies to the tweet are references to the crimew leaks, including several variations of the phrase holy fucking bingle,[6][7] with several folks wondering whether the reference was intentional or not.
Bi Lesbian Icon
Discourse around crimew's identity as a bi lesbian lead to the designation of Sprigatito as a bi lesbian icon. Occasionally other similiar identites, such as other mspec lesbians and bi gays, are also included.
