SpongeBob Fanon Wiki was a Fandom wikia for fan content of the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise. It was founded on November 8, 2008 by a user named Arre 320.[1] The wiki was closed by the host site Fandom following a report on September 13, 2018, before returning online on April 30, 2019.[2][3] It was then shut down again in March 5th, 2025 with a warning from Sannse explaining that they don't want inappropriate content on a show geared towards Y7 audiences being known for numerous articles that violated Fandom's ToS. Users on the site asked for a backup to be made shortly after Peppa Pig Fanon and Pooh's Adventures was announced to be shut down and blamed the possible shut down on AI Tools and Ads. Attempts have been made to migrate to Miraheze shortly afterwards.
